FIMI open profile production lines boast a production range up to profile widths of 1,750 mm for thicknesses from 0.25 to 12.0 mmfor the following materials:

Hot rolled carbon steel
Cold rolled carbon steel
Pickled carbon steel
Galvanized carbon steel
Stainless steel
High strength steel
Pre-painted steel
Aluminium
Copper

The profiling units can be of traditional type or with interchangeable shafts and modules (cassettes). The cutting units can be controlled both in start-stop and in continuous operation.

The lines can be equipped with pre-drilling and pre-slotting units both start-stop, managed by feeding systems, and in continuous mode.

The unloading and packing units can handle lengths from 500 to 15.000 mm and the production speed can vary from 2 to 50 m/min. depending on the type of products.

KNOW-HOW

Similar to the electro-welded tube mills are the open profiles production lines. Strong thanks to the experience got from the company SMV Srl acquired in 2011, FIMI is able to guarantee open profile production lines (C-U-Z-sigma-etc…) or 2-3 waves guard rail with its own stake or special profiles.

These lines share our know-how in coil processing, used also for the electro-welded tube lines. To these are added specialties such as flying shears realized with hydraulic punch and ad-hoc cutting moulds able to perform even cuts without burr.

Handling and packing systems similar to tube devices complete the production.
