FIMI Spa is glad to announce the signing of a new contract with Alcomet AD, the largest Bulgarian manufacturer of rolled and extruded aluminum products.

The supply will concern two brand-new plants, one Slitting Line and one Cut to Length, able to process aluminium alloys with max strip width of 2.200 mm, and thicknesses range from 0,15 up to 3,0 mm. These lines will be equipped with all the advanced solutions patented by FIMI; particularly, the leveller will be equipped with TDDS®, Torque Dynamic Distribution System.

This solution is based on special sliding couplings application on the exit of all shaft of distributor and connected to the driven shafts.

The result is no sliding between the working rolls and the strip surface, consequently much longer working rolls lifetime and no scratches on strip surface, solution particularly suitable for delicate materials such as aluminum.

The installation of these plants is scheduled for the next year in Alcomet headquarter located at Shumen in Bulgaria.
