FIMI Machinery is pleased to announce the acquisition of a major new order in Russia with the NLMK Group, one of the world's largest steel producers.

The agreement provides for the supply of two lines: a Slitting line 1,850 x 2.0 ÷ 14.0 mm and a Levelling and Cut to Length line 1,850 x 3.0 ÷ 25.0 mm, capable of processing high-strength carbon steel.

The lines will be equipped with the best technologies, which are the result of FIMI's know-how and experience in the processing of materials with these particular characteristics and which have repeatedly proven to achieve results that cannot be compared.

FIMI is particularly proud of this supply because the Cut to Length Line for high strength steel (HSS) will be the first ever line to be installed in Russia capable to process material up to 25.0 mm thick.

The installation of the two lines is scheduled for next year at the NLMK plant in Lipetsk.
