FIMI has been selected for supplying cut to length lines i.e., one for wider Coil and second for narrow coil with in-line packaging unit and one Slitting line with horizontal coil packaging unit for Tata Steel’s CR Downstream processing centre at Kalinganagar.

FIMI has been chosen for its consolidated know-how in processing high-strength materials, thanks to the adoption of FIMI’s state-of-the art systems i.e., the Torque Dynamic Distribution System (TDDS) that distributes the ideal torque on the straightening rolls of the Cut to Length Lines and the Non-Friction Tensioning System (NFTS) for the strip braking at Slitter and other automatic systems which will reduce manual intervention, thus improving productivity, quality and safety of the lines.

The customer will also be supported by FIMI’s new Indian office throughout project duration, start-up and after-sales service.
