Automation systems in the industry 5.0. Case - Study FIMI Automation
Last 25th of May at the LIUC – Cattaneo University of Castellanza (VA), FIMI Automation, as part of the Fundamentals of Automation course, held a seminar for the students attended the second year of the Bachelor's Degree in Management Engineering, focussing on the 'Automation systems in Industry 5.0'.
A new way for students who attend this automation course to deal with didactic, to be enthusiastic about the real industrial application of what has been explained during the course and, at the same time, to involve companies in their training.
This is why FIMIGroup, which has always been interested in these initiatives and proud to make a contribution, has warmly welcomed the opportunity proposed by teachers Maddalena Aime and Fernanda Strozzi, making their resources available for a videoconference that lasted throughout the morning.
FIMI team, composed of Maddalena Aime (Sales Manager at FIMIGroup), Marco Pagliari (COO) and Maria Cristina Folino (Planning and Control Engineer), concerns different aspects starting from initial FIMI structure, to its products (focusing on Slitting Lines), business processes of FIMI Automation, basic concepts of industrial automation considering also the application to anthropomorphic and cartesian robots to the presentation of the last trends of the industry 4.0 and 5.0. The focus of the seminar was not only the automation presentation in the industrial field but, above all, the concept of the management engineer rule in an automation and machines production reality and the job opportunities which deal with what students have learnt during their studies in Management Engineering.
FIMIGroup wishes good luck to the students of the course for the pursuit of their studies, hoping to have them back in the company, maybe for a future work experience.
